TONIGHT: First Person Arts Story Slam @ L'Etage

Tonight at L'Etage (624 South Sixth St.) First Person Arts holds it's monthly Story Slam at 8 p.m. The theme is "deception," so if you have compelling real-life narratives about lies you've told or that have been told to you, come see if you get selected for this friendly storytelling competition. You're familiar with the process by now: buy your $10 ticket at the door and sign up by filling out a form and putting it in a bucket. Over the course of the night, they pick 10 storytellers at random. It's recommended to arrive early to ensure a good seat, though it doesn't guarantee your name'll get picked. Tonight's Slam is hosted by former winner Katonya Mosley. Check out her video about being a 'recovering bastard' at a "Secrets"-themed slam:
