Wanna go see Death Cab and Frightened Rabbit next Friday? Of course you do. Well, the good people at the Mann have given me a pair to give away. And these ain't lawn seats.

Okay, here's what you need to do:

Draw a picture of a really scared looking bunny or some sort of menacing looking taxi cab (or both, whatevs) and send it to pat@citypaper.net with the subject GIVE ME DEATH CAB/FRIGHTENED RABBIT TICKETS.

We'll select our favorite at the end of the day on Thursday. Submit as many times as you like. Don't worry if you can't draw very well. Just have fun with it. Make us laugh. Maybe nobody else will enter this contest but you, so like if you send any old MS Paint sketch you'll totally win.

Death Cab plays with Frightened Rabbit Fri., Aug. 5 at the Mann. More info here.

Australian funny man Tim Minchin has his black nail polish-clad hands in a lot of pots. He's a comedian, he's acted in serious stage productions like Amadeus, Hamlet and Jesus Christ Superstar and he's an accomplished musician, with six albums under his studded belt. This week he's appearing at TLA for a show that combines his music and comedic talents — singing jokes while tickling away at a piano. He's offensive, he might be a little cuckoo and we totally think you should check him out. The first three people to email me at josh.middleton@citypaper.net with the subject line "dude kinda looks like a lady" will receive a pair of tickets. Show details are below:

Fri.,  July 22, 8 p.m., $31.50, TLA, 334 South St., 215-922-1011, livenation.com.

UPDATE: We have winners! Congrats to Diane, Lori and Melanie. The rest of you have to buy tickets!

Olde City Sideshow is among the line-up of performers
Tatted or not, Villain Arts' Philadelphia Tattoo Arts Convention should prove to be a rowdy, ink-slinging good time. Taking place at the Sheraton Hotel in Center City from Fri., Feb. 4 to Sun., Feb. 6, there will be appearances by famous tattoo artists from Philadelphia and beyond, a line-up of crazy entertainment and contests (i.e. bikini mechanical bull riding), and a bunch of hotties walking around with art all over their bodies. And who knows, you may stroll away with a new tat of your own — or at least a step or two closer to taking the plunge. If you want to give the festivities a whirl, we have two pairs of tickets to give away to the first two people who respond to this post in the comment section. Ready, set ... INK!

Attention all reality-TV addicts: When she's not busy skating with the stars, running ideas past The Martha, verbally clawing out the eyes of other New York housewives or planning her wedding while the world watches, Bethenny Frankel's on a tour bus (we're sure it's fully equipped with luxurious amenities for her dog, Cookie, self-penned self-help tomes like her forthcoming A Place of Yes: 10 Rules for Getting Everything You Want Out of Life, and, of course, low-calorie 'ritas out the wazoo). Bethenny is swinging by Philly on Friday (Jan. 21, 8 p.m., Merriam Theater, 250 S. Broad St., kimmelcenter.org) to talk "sass and fabulous fun" — i.e., how to live well and healthfully while being a hottie and actually enjoying yourself — and we've got a pair of tickets to give away. First, check out the Real Housewives of New York star's take on ho-bags and diet pills:
To win a pair of tickets to Friday's talk, answer the following trivia question:

What are the three ingredients in Bethenny's SkinnyGirl Margarita?

E-mail your answers to carolyn.huckabay@citypaper.net for a chance to win!
