New blood at The Coffee Bar

Justin Manne, a Philly native and former coffee consultant for Garces Restaurant Group, has joined up with Rittenhouse Square coffee shop/beer bar hybrid The Coffee Bar (Radisson-Warwick Hotel, 1701 Locust St.), and changes are a'brewing. New salads and pita sandwiches accompanied by housemade dressing and potato chips have been added to the lunch menu, but in case you can't make it in during the daylight, there are now more options for night owls, too. Available from 5 p.m. to close, their "late-night" menu includes assorted bruschetta, a hummus plate and truffle-buttered popcorn. Pair up your nosh of choice with a craft beer or a glass from the newly added sparkling wine list, or spike the hot chocolate of your choice with Kalhua or brandy for a sweet nightcap. Keep an eye out for future wine and beer tastings organized by Manne, as well.
