Art in the Age, the "community of free thinkers and artistic innovators" and the brand behind ROOT and SNAP, is collaborating with the kitchen and bar crew at N. 3rd (801 N. Third St.) to present a marriage of ROOT, SNAP, craft beer and food: the Spirited Beer Dinner, scheduled for Monday, Feb. 28. These spicy, earthy and versatile liqueurs have made appearances in cocktail crafting contests throughout the city, but this evening, they'll be showcased in each dish and every beer-infused cocktail. Reservations are required (215-413-3666), but you are able to choose any reservation time that works for you, as this tasting will be going all evening. Cost: $35 per person, not including tax or gratuity. Preview the full menu after the jump! Pre-Dinner Cocktail: Ginger SNAP Sling (SNAP, pineapple juice, gin, housemade grenadine, lime and angostura bitters) Appetizer: Ginger-poached duck lettuce wraps, SNAP-infused hoisin sauce Cocktail: SNAP Michelada (SNAP, hoisin, horseradish, lemon, orange, PBC Kenzinger, salted rim) Main Course: ROOT- and cola-glazed pork chop, parsnip puree Cocktail: ROOT Herring (ROOT, Cherry Heering, Sly Fox Pilsner, splash of Coke) Dessert: SNAP and almond tiramisu Cocktail: ROOT Beer Float (ROOT, Yards Love Stout, vanilla ice cream)
