Afternoon Snacks

Taco trucks (for sale!) and tasting menus, on today's Afternoon Snacks!

Ever dream of owning your own food truck? Well, if you've got $35,000 burning a hole in your pocket, you're in luck: the owner of Chris's Taco Stand is moving and selling their cart. The listing sounds pretty much turn-key, including everything from utensils to the truck used to tow it.

On the other hand, if you don't even have the $150 for next week's collaborative dinner at Matyson (37 S. 19th St.), maybe you'd like to opt for their $45 weekly tasting menu instead. This week, it's all about citrus, and it looks pretty fantastic. You can get it tonight through Thu., Jan 10.

Yuzu

Well Fleet Oysters, tapioca, borage

Blood Orange

Lobster, bone marrow, fennel, sorrel

Meyer Lemon

Carnaroli rice, squid, Calabrian chilies

Lime

Poussin, potato, tatsoi, chimi churri

Pomelo

Curd, almond ice cream, honey tuile
