Christina Tosi cooks with Fallon, better chocolate cake, a perfect Anti-Valentine's Day tap list in Bella Vista, and a good read about the state of fast food marketing.
Thanks to Franklin Fountain chef Sara May for bringing this to our attention on Twitter today: Momofuku Milk Bar chef Christina Tosi was on Fallon last night, and you can watch a clip right here of them making cereal milk daiquiris and malted chocolate cake truffles.
We'll happily take just about anything in its yeast-leavened form (yeasted waffles, anyone?), so here's the next thing we'll be baking: yeasted chocolate cake from Ideas in Food. The recipe does include 22 hours of rising time, though, so if you want to try it for Valentine's Day dessert, you might want to get started now.
The tap list for Devil's Den's Anti-Valentine's Day is pretty funny (courtesy of Philly Tap Finder). This list will be on tomorrow night, Feb. 14, starting at 7 p.m at Devil's Den (11th and Ellsworth Sts.)
