American Sardine Bar birthday bash tonight

POSTED: Wednesday, November 21, 2012, 11:56 AM

If you have yet to solidify your Thanksgiving plans allow us to suggest heading over to American Sardine Bar (1801 Federal St.) where they're going to be partying all night in honor of their first birthday. Along with an Acoustic set from The Jawns and an epic draft list (hello, Pliny the Elder) and the debut of the Sardine Drink Special (a can of Narragansett and a shot of Powers).

In lieu of a birthday cake resident Sardine Bar sandwich artist/chef Scott Schoeder is serving up some sardine-y specials to celebrate including grilled sardines with green olive chimichurri, fried sardines with habanero avocado salsa, sautéed sardines with bread crumbs, parsley, lemon and pickled sardines with foie gras mousse served on toast.
