Love us some anonymous food tweeters here at Meal Ticket, and this one's a new fave: The Sorry Thomas Keller account (@SryThomasKeller), comprising the honest admissions of a cook working in a kitchen whose standards might appall the French Laundry legend. Mission statement: "These tweets are an open apology to Thomas Keller and every other great chef out there. We could be like you all, but thats a lot of work."

His/her updates touch on menu misdirection ("We use the term 'farm fresh' on our menu a lot. We're lying"), corner-cutting ("Sometimes I take a random aioli from the grill station & add horseradish just so I don't have to make HRaioli for my station. ") and his/her own chef's idea-biting ("A well-known chef ate at our place the other day, he liked everything alot. Maybe cause some of our menu is from his cookbook, oops. "). We couldn't get the tweeter to let on which city the restaurant was in, and the account seems to follow food writers and chefs from around the country, so no good way to pinpoint a location or even region right now. But one update did indicate that the restaurant was a semifinalist for a James Beard award this year, which narrows it down ... kinda. Regardless, SorryTK, we'll keep reading as long as you keep us posted on your boss wiping down dinner plates with his snot rag.
