Arterial Terrorism on the brunch tip: "The Beast" at Time

The guys at Time (1315 Sansom St.) have already tried to kill us once, with the chicken-fried foie gras on their dinner menu. Now they're bringing a near-identical level of glorious disregard for our longevity to Sunday brunch with The Beast, aka THE WORLD'S DEADLIEST BREAKFAST SANDWICH.

Between two pieces of butter-fried brioche, chefs Josh McCullough and Sean Magee place house-cured bacon, fried chicken, duck sausage AND sausage gravy, French fries, cheddar cheese, a sunny-side-up egg — "and hollandaise, when Sean's feeling extra-fancy," adds McCullough. Then they throw their heads back and laugh with vindictive fervor as the Bloody-sucking guests in the dining room keel over and start making panting phone calls to estranged relatives to make amends because they know they're about to check out. You delicious-food-making bastards. Not even the promise of live jazz and a later-than-average 4 p.m. brunch end time can make up for the fact that you are meat-wielding murderers. This sandwich needs to be the subject of an episode of Criminal Minds.

Time's brunch menu also features items like fresh berries with granola.

What's the over/under on the calorie count? I'd put it at 1750 or so.
