Breaking: Little Baby's looks west

First off, happy Valentine's Day from Meal Ticket. In place of a wilted gas station bouquet or a Whitman's Sampler we're bringing you something a little sweeter, in other words, ice cream.

Our favorite ice cream impresarios, Little Baby's Ice Cream, are looking west to Cedar Park, bringing hand-made, small-batch, super-premium Philadelphia-style ice cream and non-dairy and vegan frozen desserts (read: scoops of bourbon bourbon vanilla, Earl Grey sriracha and vegan speculoos) as well as cookies and milkshakes to the proud denizens of West Philly.

Nothing has been set in stone (cooler? coffin freezer?) but riding on the whims of the approval of the neighborhood and the ice cream loving city of Philadelphia, we've got our fingers crossed that the opening of Little Baby's Ice Cream Cedar Park Embassy is going to be happening sometime in the spring.

If you'd like to show a little support for this infinitely noble cause head on over to the Calvary Community Center on February 21 at 7:15 p.m. and scream for ice cream or at least hum the Mister Softee jingle.
