Bubbe-inspired menu at Meritage

POSTED: Monday, February 4, 2013, 11:47 AM

Break out the Ben Gay and the Grey Goose: Bubbe is coming to dinner. Every Wednesday through Februany --err, February, Meritage's (500 S. 20th St.) Anne Coll is serving up piping-hot bowls of matzoh ball soup to cure what ails ya. The Jewish penicillin heralds the bubbe-inspired $25 pre-fixe, which also includes braised Painted Hills brisket with caramelized onion demi, potato and horseradish croquettes and Earl Grey-infused apple cake (a personal have) with warm apple cider.
