Chili cook-off tomorrow at The P.O.P.E.

Lookin' for someplace warm to spend Saturday afternoon? Well if your idea of warm run more towards chipotles than comforters, head on east on Passyunk to The P.O.P.E. (1501 East Passyunk Ave.) for their annual chili cook-off.

$5 gets you samples of all of the fiery entries and there is going to be a pretty serious chili-complimentary tap list with brews from Allagash, Ommegang and Dog Fish Head.

Judging the competition will be local food celebs including Collin Keefe of Grub Street fame, Suzy Woods a.k.a Beer Lass of Allagash and yours truly!
