Crime Scene: Grease thieves and deli hold ups

POSTED: Monday, July 16, 2012, 12:45 PM

Saturday night saw the hold up of iconic Main Line deli, Hymie's. Two masked men entered the pastrami-ria demanding money and cell phones from customers. Although both men were armed, no one was injured and the deli resumed turning out plates of lox and bagels come Sunday morning.

In other slippery news, two men have been apprehended for stealing used fry oil from Buddakan. What's the deal with stealing grease? Well, as it turns out the recycled grease is turned into biofuel and commands a nice price of $825 for 150 gallons. The grease thieves were caught on video and booked shortly there after.
