Looks like March 20th is the the grand re-opening date for the much missed Dolphin (1539 S. Broad St.) Shuttered since August, The Dolphin has been taken over by Avram Hornik and revamped with fresh neon, a new sound system and staff. Former P.O.P.E. barkeep Matt Summers is going to be slinging drinks along with a reportedly all-lady bar staff. And yes, there will be dancers.
Update: The Passyunk Post broke the very good news that Dave P of Making Time and Snack fame is going to be booking DJs at the revamped Dolphin so there will be plenty of futuristic sounds to look forward to. Consider us officially stoked.
