Extra Extra! Tasting menus, brunch guides and local booze

POSTED: Friday, February 8, 2013, 1:40 PM

The Insider dug up an very useful spreadsheet of Philly brunch spots compiled by Lee Porter of Chocolate Covered Memories that's broken down into neighborhoods and weekend dining highlights.

Grub's caught word that Jersey has issued it's first artisan distilling license for the first time since prohibition. What does that mean for all of us? More locally produced small batch liquor, namely a Jersey sweet corn bourbon.

Lookin' to drop some big bucks this weekend? Eater has lined up 15 of Philly's good lookin'est tasting menus.

Is Steven Starr opening up a Mexican place in Fishtown? Well, it's anybody's guess but Foobooz's story is pretty damned entertaining.
