Well, we've done a pretty good job about keeping our opinions to ourselves about this whole horse meat thing. And we will continue to keep our mouths shut but we would like to share a few local horse meat happenings that popped up today.

Marc Vetri is voicing his opinions on the subject over at HuffPo, and he's thinking that to eat horse or not to eat horse is not really the issue at all. 

Over at Metro they're reporting that chef Peter McAndrews has been receiving bomb threats since he announced his intentions to put horse on the menu at Monsu. Seriously?

Of course, in our humble opinion the best thing to come out of this whole horse meat debacle is probably this tweet from Superchunk's Mac McCaughan or maybe it's the fact that we've been listening to this all day.
