First Annual Garces Family Foundation Gala coming to The Kimmel Center

POSTED: Monday, October 1, 2012, 12:10 PM

On October 10th Jose and Dr. Beatriz Garces are hosting a gala on the roof to The Kimmel Center to benefit Puentes de Salud and the Garces Family Foundation, their charity promoting healthcare and nutritional programs in Philadelphia's immigrant communities as well as education and school gardens.

Big spenders can go for the VIP dinner which includes cocktails, hors d'œuvres and a five-course meal courtesy of big names like Marc Vetri and Jeff Michaud, Kevin Sbraga, Michael Solomonov, Tim Spinner of La Calaca Feliz, Fish's Mike Stollenwark, Pierre Calmels of Bibou and Zeppoli's Joey Baladino.

General admission gets you small bites and paired drinks from the entire roster of the Garces group. Chefs from Amada, Chifa, Tinto, Village Whiskey, Distrito, JG Domestic and Garces Trading company will be crafting canapés and desserts to enjoy along with live music and flamenco dancers.

To round out all of the cocktails and dancing, guests will be seen out with late night tacos and coffee from Rival Brothers and Guapos Tacos to ward off any charity-related hangovers.
