Hawk Krall dishes on South Philly Mexi-Pizza

After putting the finishing touches on his epic pizza-celeb mural at Pizza Brain you'd think that local illustrator-hot dog guru Hawk Krall would be on pizza hiatus. Happily this is not the case. Hawk is back on the pizza trail, this time seeking out Mexican-pizza mash-ups at South Philly's Rosario's (1501 Wharton St.)

Although the pizza wasn't perfect (Hawk called out an underdone, too thick crust), the toppings combo of pineapple, pork, guajillo hot sauce, onions and cilantro were spot on.
