Introducing Ask Meal Ticket

POSTED: Wednesday, March 6, 2013, 10:44 AM

If you haven't already surmised, here at Meal Ticket we eat out a lot. We've also spent a good long time working in restaurants and cooking at home. Oh, and drinking? Well, we're pretty good at that too.

So with that in mind, we'd like to introduce a new feature to the site: Ask Meal Ticket.

In this new weekly feature we're encouraging Meal Ticket readers to submit questions and we're going to choose a few each week and we'll answer 'em for ya. It's kind of like Dear Abby, but, you know, with food.

Wondering which wine to pick up at our glorious state stores? Looking for a lunch spot to take your stingy mother-in-law? In search of a place for a great first date or how to get a proper sear on a scallop. Proper tip-age for subpar or superior service? We've got answers, folks. And we're all about you getting the most out of your dining out/eating in endeavors.

So if you have a query for the knowledgeable minds here at Meal Ticket email caroline@citypaper.net and we'll get to the bottom of it. Okay go!
