POSTED: Monday, July 30, 2012, 3:30 PM

Matyson (37 S. 19th St.) just won Best Tasting Menu from Philadelphia Magazine, and it will certainly show with this week's killer tasting menu to honor their award. They will be offering a Best of Philly-inspired tasting menu with a nod toward Best Chef, Best Taco, Best Chinese Restaurant and Best Fried Chicken winners, and bringing it all back home with one of Matyson's most-loved desserts. Leave it to Chef Puchowitz to turn out his take on truly the best of the best. You can have it all in one fabulous $45 dinner this Monday through Thursday. Call to make a reservation at 215-564-2925.

First Course

Best Chef George Sabatino: Black bass crudo with melon, pickles and thai chile

Second Course

Best Taco by El Zarape: Tacos al pastor with smoked pork, pineapple and corn

Third Course

Best Chinese Restaurant Han Dynasty: Dan Dan noodles with ground duck, foie gras and peanut

Fourth Course

Best Fried Chicken by Federal Donuts: Chicken fried quail with harissa, and zaatar-spiced doughnuts

Fifth Course
