Meal Ticket Roll Call! Meet your new interns, Alexandra Weiss and Katie Linton
Team Meal Ticket is excited to welcome a few new voices to the oh-god-I'm-so-full fray. After the jump, get all the particulars on two names you'll be seeing quite a bit of over the next few months.
Alexandra Weiss, a Holland, Pa. native and graduate of Drexel University's Design & Merchandising program, has been eating and drinking in Philadelphia since 2006. A former Yelp intern, Pub & Kitchen hostess and current self-proclaimed sushi connoisseur, she has developed a great enthusiasm for the local restaurant scene. She is always trying (and failing) to eat healthier because she knows she probably should, but the aforementioned enthusiasm usually gets in the way. Weiss can usually be found eating some form of Asian fare but has been really into buffalo wings lately. When not eating, she is most likely riding her bike, at a coffee shop or at a bar with her friends, wishing her cat was allowed to come hang out, too. (alexandra@citypaper.net)

Katie Linton is a Georgia peach who's been taking her chances in South Philadelphia for the past four years. Though she misses boiled peanuts and fried shrimp, Philly's tasty burgers and beers have given her some solace. When she’s not touring happy hours in the city, Katie can usually be found blogging about said happy hours as well as other miscellaneous Yankee adventures at southphillysilly.com.
