Here's some more info on the Thai restaurant coming to the corner of 15th and South that we first mentioned on April 6. The chef behind Sawatdee (that's Thai for "Hey! How are ya?") is Tony Inchote, a vet of Susanna Foo, Twenty Manning and Dmitri's. He'll cook a traditional menu —  your curries, your noodle dishes, your veggie options — at the BYO, which will begin the renovation process toward the end of April. Inchote will offer takeout and delivery in addition to sit-down serving (there will be outdoor tables). Proposed hours are Mon.-Thu., 11 a.m.-10 p.m.; Fri.-Sat., 4-11 p.m.; Sun., 4-10 p.m.

I guess you could translate that phrase in that manner, but it is Thai for the the perfectly normal "hello."
