New Exec at White Dog U City
White Dog Cafe welcomes Eyhab Hatab as the new head of their kitchen.
New Exec at White Dog U City
Add University City’s White Dog Café (3420 Sansom St.) to the list of kitchens changing hands this week. Their new exec is Eyhab Hatab, who served as chef de cuisine at Daniel Stern’s Rae and later as sous at Le Bec Fin before leaving the city for a stint in Connecticut. With the new chef, of course, come updated lunch and dinner menus; a first look reveals some intriguing new dishes with an expanded worldview, including merguez sliders, a vegetarian tagine, seitan dosas, and a Vietnamese-inspired burger.
