Night Market pops up in Mt. Airy

POSTED: Thursday, August 16, 2012, 11:30 AM

Food truck aficionados and street festival lovers take note, the Night Market is popping up again this evening in Mt. Airy. Spanning from the 6800 block to the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue, this installation of the market is promising 50 food trucks, craft vendors, drinks by way of Yards, Penns Woods Wines and cocktails from Philadelphia Distilling, and live music curated by WXPN.

The Food Trust just released a guide to this evening's festivities and there's an absolute ton of trucks converging on Germantown Ave. serving everything from waffles to takoyaki, popsicles and cheese curds. The party starts at 6 and runs until 10:30 p.m. And on the off chance that the weather chooses not to cooperate, August 23rd is the rain date.
