Now Seating: Chili Szechuan
Unlike New York, L.A. and Chengdu, Philadelphia doesn't really have all that many options for Sichuan fare, aside, of course from the always awesome Han Dynasty. While strolling down Baltimore Avenue earlier in the week Meal Ticket stumbled upon Chili Szechuan (4626 Baltimore Ave.), the latest addition to the city's peppercorn and chile-laden dining scene.
Save for a bit of lorem ipsum on the website, it looks like Chili Szechuan is serving up all of our favorites including mapo tofu, cumin lamb and dry pepper chicken along with some unfamiliar items like tofu pudding and Dongpo braised pork belly.
Of course, if spice isn't your thing, it's worth a mention that Chili Szechuan has a menu of Americanized Chinese fare for the faint of heart.
