Now Seating: Toast & Breezy's Cafe

If you're in the market for breakfast/lunch options this weekend, we've got some breaking cafe news for you.

First up we're happy to report that Breezy's Cafe (2011 Reed St.) is now open. They're doing pretzel roll sandwiches, cheesesteaks and veg alternatives like a seitan hoagie and a Kennett Square mushroom melt.

And over in MIdtown Village, the 12th and Spruce spot that was home to the short-lived (and possibly best named ever) YOLO is reopening as Toast next Friday. They're going to be celebrating the opening with free coffee from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. courtesy of One Village, Fair Trade Roasters and Green Street. As one might assume from the name, Toast will be serving a menu of egg toasts (think truffled mushrooms and cheddar and smoked salmon, asparagus and hollandaise) as well as sandwiches, salads and housemade muffins and scones.
