Now Testing: Pizzeria Beddia

Early this week we brought you photographic evidence of the pizza testing progress for Pizzeria Vetri. Today Zagat's reporting that Joe Beddia, the pizza aficionado behind Pizzeria Beddia is doing some serious recipe testing as well. His new spot at 115 E. Girard is gearing up to open soon and after getting a look at this brick oven fired pie topped with basil, Parm, pickled chilies and sopressata, we've got to say that we are pretty excited for the state of Philadelphia pizza in 2013.
