Oktoberfest VIP-style at Brauhaus

POSTED: Monday, August 13, 2012, 1:15 PM

Oktoberfest is always a good time. You're drinking outsized steins of beer, laughing with friends, enjoying yourself, and then it hits. Except oh wait, there is a 20-person bathrooom line because, well, it's Oktoberfest.

If you are determined to avoid this inevitable situation this year, get your hands on one of Brauhaus Schmitz's (718 South St.) VIP packages on sale now for their Oktoberfest party on Saturday September 29th. The $100 VIP experience includes 5 private bathrooms in anticipation of the copious quantities of beer sure to be consumed during the celebrations. You will also have in-and-out access to the VIP Brauer Bund Room where chef Jeremy Nolen will be serving complimentary stomach padding German apps from noon 'til 3 p.m. Most importantly, however, you get 6 tickets for beers from the VIP Oktoberfest list or the food stands. Your beer will be served in a take-home Brauhaus beer stein, and T-shirts and other commemorative keepsakes will be floating around too.

As of yesterday, there were only 60 packages left. Call 267-909-8814 or email Marci at brauhausevents@gmail.com to reserved your VIP package before they run out.
