Philly favorites on the menu at The Field House

POSTED: Thursday, August 30, 2012, 4:00 PM

Center City sports bar, The Field House (1150 Filbert St.) was never really much of a dining destination, but with former Opa chef Andrew Brown coming abroad that's about to change. He'll be stepping up the pub grub with Philly-centric menu items like roast pork sandwiches, a reimagned cheesesteak, pork roll, and that curious but totally awesome combo that is chicken salad and fried oysters. In addition to the new menu, The Field house is pouring drafts from a 40-tap bar with nearly all of the beers coming from the Philadelphia area. Phils fans take note, even though the menu is getting a makeover, those 35 TVs aren't going anywhere.
