Restaurant Wrap Up

POSTED: Wednesday, August 29, 2012, 5:00 PM

There's been a whole lot of action on the opening and chef shuffling front. Here's a look at the day's restaurant happenings:

The Insider is reporting that Han Chiang is opening up a new location of Han Dynasty in Cherry Hill's Saw Mill Village, home to the original location of Sammy Chon's K-Town Barbecue and Gary's Gem Garden, the East Coast's largest complete rock shop.

Foobooz has the menu for U City's Ramen Bar, serving up 10 types of ramen starting shortly after Labor Day.

Eater's got the latest on Craft & Claw, the Old City spot focusing on, you guessed it, craft beer and seafood. Specials on all-you-can-eat crab commence after their September 20 opening.

Grub Street brings the pleasant news that the long empty East Girard former home of Hot Potato Cafe will soon become home to Lloyd, a laid-back whiskey bar.

And in Foobooz reported chef shufflage, we've got Andrew Brown leaving Opa for the Field House and Joe Chmiko is leaving Resurrection Ale House for New York and Rhett Veliner is stepping up as his replacement.
