Rosa Mexicano into Roy's?

Cheers to the Meal Ticket tipster who informs that Rosa Mexicano, the New York-based upscale Mexican restaurant with satellite locations in Jersey, D.C., Miami, Los Angeles and elsewhere, has its sights set on the old Roy's Hawaiian Fusion at 15th and Sansom. (The space was last earmarked for developer Joe Grasso's American Oak.) No further details at this time but we'll of course keep you posted. If this comes to fruition, should provide some interesting competition for the well-heeled Tequilas right down the street.

UPDATE: Hmmmm, a rep for Rosa Mexicano denies that they're poking around the vacant space. We'll keep an eye on this one.
