Sandwich News

The Insider shared some very good news for people who love sandwiches today. Anyone who has ever made the trek down to John's Roast Pork knows that there's a very good chance of sandwich disappointment if you show up post-lunchtime hours. But it looks like that all about to change. According to Michael Klein, owner John Bucci has struck a deal with Mick Daniel's Saloon at 2nd and Snyder and they're going to be serving up John's signature roast pork, sausage and meatballs after the flagship shuts down for the day. No word yet on cheesesteaks.

And speaking of cheesesteaks, Northeast classic, Steve's Prince of Steaks is bringing the Whiz to Center City and opening up shop at 16th and Walnut. We're not promising that new location is going to have the same black and white tile and chrome interior as the original but we're pretty stoked to have Steve's a little bit closer to home.
