Scott Schroeder's making sandwiches for Monday's Industry Night

POSTED: Thursday, August 30, 2012, 5:05 PM

This month's edition of Amis' (412 South 13th St.) alway awesome Industry Night is going to be a good one. On Monday September 3, Scott Schroeder, sandwich architect, Meal Ticket contributer and chef at The South Philly Taproom and American Sardine Bar is teaming up with Brad Spence for a sandwich-laden picnic party. Schroeder's got sardine sandwiches and pig's head sloppy joes with potato chips lined up and Spence is planning on spaghetti sandwiches with roasted vegetables and bitter greens and roast beef with Barolo wine cheese and caramelized onions. A plethora of pies are rounding out the free to industry folks buffet. A bourbon-orange sherbet punch is in the works.

In other Vetri related news, Marc Vetri, Jeff Michaud, Brad Spence and Steve Wildy are giving Food Republic the weekend off, from Instagram at least. The Crew is taking over photo taking duties for the site. #VetriTakeover is the tag to follow the action.
