Strike! SouthBowl coming to Front and Oregon

South Philadelphians, get stoked! The Passyunk Post is reporting that the owners of North Bowl are headed to the corner of Front and Oregon to open up SouthBowl. The details are pretty slim but the space is a former produce distribution center and and a stone's throw from Tony Luke's.

The post got a spokesperson from NorthBowl on the line who said that the new entertainment complex will be home to a bar and restaurant as well as the bowling alley. Plus there's talk of batting cages, arcade games and pool tales.

SouthBowl is aiming for a fall 2013 opening date.
