Summer cocktails and a warm weather wine dinner at Lemon Hill
Two boozy happenings to report from Fairmount's Lemon Hill (747 N. 25th St.)
First up we have a 4-course summer wine dinner on Monday July 30th for those interested in how to pair wines. For this dinner, chef Mitch Prensky at Lemon Hill is defying norms by disengaging the concept of wine dinners from the stigma of snooty French culture through dishes that contrast classic French cooking with nouveau American cooking styles. Each course showcases a traditional French dish and a modern interpretation, all paired with non-French wines that complement both styles of cooking.
There will be two seatings, at 6PM and 8PM, for $48 a head. To reserve, call 215-232-2299 or email.
And if you're in the market for a little apéritif, Lemon Hill has you covered with four cocktails tailored for hot weather sippage.
Both menus for your viewing pleasure after the jump.
