Thirsty Thursday
It's officially happy hour so if you have yet to choose your Thursday cocktail destination here are a few ideas for your consideration:
Thirsty Thursday
Over at Cavanaugh's (1823 Sansom St.) Lexi Malmros, the boozy baker behind Beer Cakes is hosting a Magic Hat happy hour from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with samples of her wares (think strawberry-banana cake made with Lancaster Brewing's Strawberry Wheat) and beers for $3.
If you'd prefer something a little breezier head over to Opa (1311 Sansom St.) where tonight marks the opening of their new Drury Beer Garden. Backyard beers are being served from 5 p.m. to midnight Monday through Thursday and until 2 a.m. on weekends. Look for craft cans and bottles, spiked lemonade, iced tea, and punch and a summery snack menu of crabs, pretzels, and cheese fries.
