Two West Philly coffee operations head east

POSTED: Monday, September 24, 2012, 1:23 PM

After ten years in West Philly, The Green Line Cafe is taking over the Cafe Loftus space at 15th and Moravian Streets.  The Green Line folks aren't planning on too many changes in the Loftus space, the biggest being a switch over to organic and fair-trade coffees from Equal Exchange. Look for the Green Line takeover beginning October 1st.

In other West Philly coffee happenings, according to a tipster HubBub, the big red coffee selling truck that sets up shop on 38th between Locust and Spruce is opening up a brick-and-mortar location at 17th and Arch.
