Yards hosts The Dude Hates Cancer

POSTED: Wednesday, July 11, 2012, 2:26 PM

Yards Brewing Company (901 N. Delaware Ave) is hosting The Dude Hates Cancer Event/Cape of Good Hope Launch Party on July 27th from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. In the hopes of helping towards this year's fundraising goal of $100,000, Yards is selling $40 tickets for a night of Lebowski-inspired beer, music, beer, food and more beer. All proceeds will benefit The Dude Hates Cancer organization, which supports leukemia and lymphoma research. The tickets will cover you for brewery tours, live music, light fare provided by Yards and (you guessed it) BEER. Yards will be launching their new epic double IPA, the Cape of Good Hope, which will be on tap all night along with the rest of Yards beers. Several of Philly's most-loved food trucks will be on hand for your eating enjoyment as well, pay-as-you-go style. We're not going to confirm or deny any John Goodman or Steve Buscemi appearances but it's sure to be a good time for a good cause. Tickets available here.
