South Philly Taproom owner John Longacre, who in May opened the half coffee/half beer hub Brew with java dude Aaron Ultimo, says they're shooting to have Brew's liquor license in place by Saturday, June 27 the date of SPTR's fourth annual Wheat Beer Festival. Brew (1900 S. 15th St., 215-339-5177) will offer somewhere in the neighborhood of 500 international bottles, a selection that'll surely look pretty inside the space's vintage cooler system (above).
