Food for All (7127 Germantown Ave.), the celiac-friendly and allergy-sensitive prepared foods market and grocery readying in Mount Airy, is close to opening, and the team recently shared some details with Meal Ticket about what to expect at their come-one, come-all shop. Headed by Amy Kunkle and Leslie McLaughlin, formerly of Chestnut Hill's defunct Good Food Market, as well as gluten-free Baker Rachel Kern, Food for All will be stocked with healthy and allergy-aware homemade meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Offerings will include gluten-free oatmeal with an array of mix-ins and a risotto of the day. Signature dishes will include Kunkle's spa chicken, an organic bird paired with equally as organic spinach and sundried tomato sauce. The grocery portion of Food for All will offer gluten-free/vegan bread, baked goods and products from Amaranth, Sweet Freedom, Greenwood Kitchen and Sweet ChristineÂ’s. Also look for local raw milk, eggs and produce and local grass-fed beef, pastured pork and free-range poultry from Lancaster Farm-Fresh Co-op and Landisdale Farms, plus spices from Mountain Rose Herbs. Food for All will open sometime during the first full week of September. Hours will be Tuesday to Sunday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
