On Saturday, July 31, Johnny Brenda's (1201 N. Frankford Ave.) is hosting a good old-fashioned Kenzinger-sponsored Clam Bake from 4 to 10 p.m. The day will include the Rag DJs spinning tunes starting at 5 p.m., a limbo contest MC'd by the Philadelphia Brewing Co. crew at 6 p.m., and, of course, all the top-neck clams you can eat — they'll also offer monkfish, housemade andouille sausage, corn on the cob and new potatoes. There is no cover, pay as you go for food and booze, with Kenzinger-themed prizes throughout the day.
