Mark Tropea and Krystal Weaver launched their BYOB Sonata in Liberties Walk (1010 N. American St. 215-238-1240) a year ago today, To celebrate, the chefs will hook up any guest who comes in for dinner Friday through Sunday with a free Champagne toast, and they'll dole out complimentary Bloody Marys for Sunday brunch from 10 to 2. Use the booze to chase items off Sonata's new summer menu, which features humidity-cutting dishes like gazpacho with cucumber sorbet and a compressed watermelon salad with local goat cheese.
