Dan Semko's Renaissance Sausage recently started a CSA-style sausage-by-the-pound ordering system for those who want to enjoy his locally awesome links in the comfort of their own home. Renaissance's Italian pork, apple sage chicken, Mediterranean (lamb/beef)., breakfast sausage and vegan sausage will be available at $10 a pound (minimum order of 3 lbs.); Pumpkin Market (1609 South St.) will be the city pickup point for orders, but there are also locations in the Main Line and Newtown/New Hope areas. The deadline to place an order for this first round of meaty distribution is this coming Tuesday, Dec. 7. Email renaissancesausage[at]gmail[dot]com for official order form and payment instructions.
