Marcus Samuelsson, chef/owner of NYC's Aquavit (and several other restaurants), cookbook author, TV personality and all-around prolific ambassador of slept-on Scandinavian cookery, will visit the International House (3701 Chestnut St.) on Tuesday, Sept. 15 for a cooking demo, tasting and book signing. Samuelsson will prepare dishes from his forthcoming The New American Table, which comes out in October.

Pre-sale tix for the event, which is a fundraiser for the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce of Philadelphia, cost $65 a head or $120 a pair for I-House/SACC members; they'll go on sale tomorrow. GA tix will go for $80 and $150 and will go on sale Tuesday, Sept. 1.
