Irish for a day: St. Patty's Day events

After ten hours of planes, trains and automobiles, the effort was clearly worth it when I had my first sip of Guinness this weekend (fresh from St. James Gate). While I'm pub-hopping in the UK this week, we've rounded up a list of St. Patty's Day events taking place right in town this Wednesday - no plane tickets necessary. Pints and Pancakes at Fadó Irish Pub Wed, March 17, 7am-2am, pay-as-you-go Start your day off with a hearty breakfast of free pancakes and Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH) pints in the morning. Though there are no specific drink specials listed, you can be sure the place will be packed and wild.
