It's official: The Cupcake Truck launches this Friday

The city has spoken � all the paperwork's taken care of, and Buttercream Philadelphia maven Kate Carrara will launch her mobile Cupcake Truck this coming Friday, Aug. 28, at noon at LOVE Park. (She's previewed her cupcakes at several stationary places prior to this, but now she's got the clearance to sell as an official licensed street vendor.) Here's all the info on the sugar rush facilitator on wheels, and some July preview shots of the sprinkly vehicle courtesy of the Center City District.

Well, Kate Carrara’s there right now, and Philly comfort food bon vivant Holly Moore just noted on Twitter that there are “maybe a hundred people in line” for the Truck’s wares.
