Kibitz Room is now Schlesinger's

Kibitz Room, which opened at 1521 Locust in the spring of 2009, has been taken over real estate broker Allan Domb and converted into Schlesinger's still a Jewish deli, but now run by Louis Barson of Merion's Hymie's. The deli, which is open now, is in the process of being updated (new booths on the way); they've also expanded hours to seven days a week, beginning at 7 a.m. for breakfast and running through 8 p.m. for dinner (takeout, delivery and catering too). Here's Schlesinger's menu (PDF), which now includes an expanded sandwich lineup (burgers, four kinds of reuben) and various entrées.
