Make your own Franklin drink

Frequent Meal Ticket haunt The Franklin Mortgage & Investment Co. (112 S. 18th St.) recently got some love from Bon Appétit - the mag named the Franklin one of its 10 best new cocktail spots in the country. As an addendum, they're sharing recipes from each haunt online. Peep BA's site for a how-to on the Franklin's Powder Burns Punch No One To Punch, a concoction from bartender Colin Shearn.* If you don't have allspice dram handy and/or your'e fresh out of velvet falernum, we'll just meet you over at the bar for a drink because that is more our steez.
