POSTED: Monday, February 1, 2010, 8:03 PM
Filed Under: Chef Salad | Openings

It's official: Chef Matthew Levin, former exec chef at Lacroix, has just signed a lease to open a restaurant in what was Coquette at Fifth and Bainbridge, confirms partner Kar Vivekanathan. American bistro concept with a full liquor license; tentative opening is set for early summer 2010. Former Eagle/now Charger Jon Runyan is also an investor.

Back in August, Levin told Meal Ticket about two pending restaurants: Rubb BBQ in Manayunk and Masano and Second and Green. He's no longer involved with either project.

More details soon.
