May 2: IPA Fest and Block Party at Hawthornes
After you hit up the Headhouse Farmers Market Week 1 this coming Sunday, go home, stash the haul and high-tail it over to Hawthornes (11th and Fitzwater), where they're holding an outdoor festival for unrepentant hopheads like us. Starting at 3 and running till 7, Hawthornes' IPA celebration will feature $4 pints (epic, epic ale lineup after the jump), grilled fare (burgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs, etc.) and live reggae from The Sun Tones, the same band that played across-the-street Bella Vista Beer's 2008 opening.
